    It is a Great Book for General Health…But not for Hollistic Health
    This book is alright it informed me of superfoods that I didn’t even know about like oregano and figs. But it does advocate the eating of gluten which is the worst thing to anyone’s health. The book was right to the point and stayed on topic, although it claimed to some studies of food but had no appropriate sources just mentions. If you were a noobie at health and did not know how to eat healthy I would totally recommend this book as it comes with a hand superfoods grocery list. I’ll give it a 5 because I didn’t know this much information when I got into the health circle only if I were to know of this book before I would have been better in overall health. I learned more that is what is important in the end.

    Superfoods: The 101 Best Food to live longer and feel younger is a good book, but not a great book. It has a great list of supper foods that are great for your body, but its comment on each food is so small that it disappointed me. However I give it a 4 start because it provides a comprehensive listing of great foods.

    Now THIS is the way to write a healthy food book!!!
    We love the format of Superfoods: The 101 Best Foods to Live Longer and Feel Younger because after a detailed introduction, every single good, healthy food here is listed and explained in depth. The foods are organized alphabetically for easy reference. At each food item, the reasoning and science behind the health of that food is described, in detail enough to explain the “reason why” to you but not so much scientific and medical goop to lose us. (By the way, there are more than 101 here! The author seems to like over-delivering which we won’t argue with!)The COOLEST part of the book is the back where you get the Handy List for Shopping for the 101 Best Superfoods. I hate shopping but I REALLY hate grocery shopping. I can never find what I want and now that I will be loaded with a list of foods I have not bought much of in the past this shopping list helps a lot because it enables me to highlight what I need, organized by grocery section, and just go down my list – YES I will take my Kindle to the grocery store tonight! – and I’ll fill my basket efficiently! Highly recommended!

    Good, but needs more depth.
    I did enjoy the introduction and closing comments, but the information about the actual food was very brief. The information that was provided can easily be found from a quick web search. I would have preferred there was more information on each food like in this superfoods book – Superfoods – Healthy Food For Your Daily Life. I found Carter’s book to be very informative and very helpful. I would recommend you give his book a try before this one.

    Most health books are way, way too long and a chore to read. This one is short, to the point and very informative t boot. I like almost everything in this book so I look forward to my next trip to the market- it will help me do a “pantry makeover!!”

    Even for $0.99 it’s fairly poor value
    I have to be honest with you, I hate to leave a negative review, especially knowing that someone went through all the trouble of creating this eBook.However, if you are taking people’s money, however little, make sure you do it respectfully.The book is nothing but a long list of superfoods, yes, something you can find via a simple search online, the author didn’t really go the extra mile (or foot) to give you some added value.It’s only a dollar so it’s not like you’re really going to miss it, but I don’t know, donate it to charity if you’re really into throwing away money.And to the author, I’m sorry, but this is not a product worth of people’s money.I gave it 2 stars because it does contain information (however useless)

    Easy and concise, this book gives a summary for why each food was chosen. The specific health benefits, instead of just what nutrients are found in items listed, is something I appreciated. It’s a good quick start.

    Thank goodness I bought the Kindle version for 99 pence, or I would have been well cheesed-off. It is just a list of foods and why they are wonderful. Bit of a telephone directory experience. don’t bother with the paperback, unless you don’t mind paying a few quid for a list.
