A friendly and thorough Herbal Tea guide for beginners!
I never knew you could make tea from things like orchid flowers and pomegranate peel! This book taught me so much. It explains things clearly in a simple way, making it easy to understand. The illustrations are sharp and detailed, and in color, which makes it fun to read and follow along the recipes. One thing I really like is how the book gives safety tips for every herb. For example, with orchid flowers, it reminds you to make sure to choose the ones which are edible, and make sure they’re not sprayed with pesticides. That’s very helpful! At the end of the book, it also talks about the health benefits of each tea, e.g. helping you sleep better, fighting cancer, etc. This is an awesome book to keep on your shelf. I’ll surely come back to it whenever I feel like trying a new tea recipe I’ve never had before. Highly recommend!

My first book on herbal teas and great one.
This is my first book on herbal teas that I brought and it’s a great one. Lately I found that I enjoy herbs more then teas that’s why I brought it. This book has herbs described with usages for every letter. For each herb you will find guides how to brew and what are precautions. Precautions was interesting part where I learn new things on few herbs. For me and my sister the hit was How to Create Your Own Herbal Tea Blends and all purposes, right now I’m testing ones that help with sleeping and it seems to work even better then melisa that I used before. Great book for anyone with a taste for herbs.

The Art of Tea Blending Simplified
Wealth of information on various ingredients that can be included in tea blends, many of which I’ve never heard of, some I was familiar with but hadn’t considered for tea, and then of course there are those we are very familiar with. It would be helpful to include good, clean sourcing information especially for herbs etc. we’re unfamiliar with. I appreciate the section of creating our own blends, including ratios; and the recipes to use as guidance and inspiration.

Natural remedies that are worth trying
There’s a huge list of herbs contained in this book, many of them I hadn’t even heard of. I’ve already made a few blends for sleep and relaxation, and I think they’ve helped. It shows you how to mix your own teas & gets you thinking of your own creative combinations. If you’re into natural remedies, I think you’ll enjoy reading this book.

Life and Tea
This book is great source of reference due to its practicality when it comes to drinking the different teas and their function. The delivery of information for each tea is presented by name if it, naming its function followed by additional benefits and brewing time; all this makes it easy to get started on tea drinking for health. The illustration land glossary of terms add value to the book. I’ll be revisiting it often.

Herbal Teas Are Wonderful
I like that this book is a compilation of 100 herbal teas, their uses, and more. It starts off listing the tools you need, instructions for steeping, benefits of herbal tea, and safety measures. Then it lists from A-Z all the different kinds of herbal teas out there, such as Acerola, Fig Leaf, Kudzu, Tarragon and much more. There are common ones and not so well known ones. My favorite is the Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) because it so easy to find and I made teas out of the roots and flower itself. The leaf is edible, but bitter.

A great little book about herbal tea. It starts off going alphabetically through the different herbs you could use, then it has a series of recipes for certain conditions.
