A decent daily moisturizer with a unique scent.
Having generally sensitive skin, I’m always on the lookout for new moisturizing products and so I was excited to try this Vitrilife Ayurvedic moisturizer. I hadn’t heard of the brand before, but I had heard of Ayurveda, and I’ve had good results from products that include Aloe and Sesame oil.The product comes in a simple 100ml pump bottle, and I initially used a pea sized amount to do a skin test on the back of my hand. It has a fairly strong scent that’s both floral and spice adjacent. It felt non-greasy and absorbed well, leaving skin feeling hydrated and supple.I like to do my research on the products I use, both the ingredients / formulation and the company that produces them. From what I was able to find, this particular product is made by Herbalife and only available in India, which perhaps explains the high price. Herbalife states they don’t do any animal testing for cosmetics, so they get points from me for that one.Overall it’s a solid moisturizer, but unless I was looking for this particular brand or scent I wouldn’t order again.
