I’ve been using the Peppermint Oil and it really works. The peppermint scent is strong but refreshing, and I like that it’s a natural option without harsh chemicals. Really Works!!! Bye Bye Wasps!
It works! It absolutely repels wasps (at least Paper Wasps). I live in the South and always have issues with Paper Wasps building nests around my house. They seem to love building their nests in my fence gate between the wooden slats. I ended up getting stung on my face while opening the gate about 2 Summers ago. Thought I’d give Mighty Mint a try since I hate using the generic wasp spray…smells terrible and loaded with nasty chemicals. I wanted something that prevented the wasps from building nests, rather than killing them after the fact. I used Mighty Mint at the beginning of Spring (BEFORE they start nest building) and carefully sprayed in between all the wooden slats on the fence gate and adjacent slats….no nests all Summer long. I would spray again about once a month since I’m sure its effect wears off in the intense heat and Summer thunderstorms (gets washed away). It does seem to work..I was skeptical but now I am a believer. My only complaint is that the spray bottle itself is on the smaller side, so I went ahead and purchased a bottle of concentrate to replace/mix when it finishes. Also, it smells wonderful but it is on the stronger side. Good idea to spray it when not breezy outside because if you have bad allergies (like me) it may affect you if you get some blowback in your face. Otherwise it’s an awesome product! Definitely worth a try.

“Great Pest Spray, but Nozzle Didn’t Work”
Effective but Spray Nozzle FailedThe peppermint scent is strong and fresh — it really helped keep ants and spiders out of my garage. I like that it’s safe around pets and kids. The only issue was the spray nozzle didn’t work at all, so I had to pour it into a separate bottle. Great product, just wish the sprayer worked!

Works great in RV to keep mice out
Works great to deter mice! Our RV sits for long periods of time without use at our property. I noticed mouse droppings a few times so I researched and found that mice hate peppermint. I also found on my RV Facebook page that many used peppermint. I bought this spray and sprayed cotton rounds and put them all around the RV as well as spraying around the outside. The last two times we have opened the RV and found no mouse droppings and no spiders at all. I now have it on hand to spray every time we leave the RV.The smell is strong but it is a clean smell and it does dissipate pretty quickly.

Spiders are stubborn
The spiders definitely don’t like this stuff. When I spray this around the front door, they come scrambling out of the siding and the light, dropping down from the porch ceiling. It is pretty terrifying for someone who does not enjoy spiders dropping on their head.It does NOT kill them, just disorients them. Unfortunately once they get their wits back, they just go back to their hidey holes. I had hoped it would make them want to move, but they are only annoyed briefly by my minty harrassment and have decided to stay anyway. Jerks.On the plus side, smells fabulous!

Gets rid of houseplant gnats!
I was a Branch II pest control professional, so I hope you’ll understand my confidence in this product when I tell you IT WORKS. We had houseplant gnats like you wouldn’t believe and I was skeptical, but desperate. All of the professional pesticides didn’t work to get rid of plant gnats, so I ordered a small bottle of this as a last resort. I treated all of the soil (just a few sprays) in each pot. I kid you not- no more gnats within a day, and the house smelled like candy canes as an added bonus. After several months, I started to see some gnats come back, so I just ordered the monster bottle, and once again, my house smells like Christmas, and I have zero…. ZERO gnats. If you want to get rid of your houseplant gnats and want to clear your sinuses at the same time, this is the stuff. I’m a believer now!

I’ve been using the Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Insect Repellent Spray for a few days now, and it has quickly become one of my go-to household essentials. The first thing you notice is the fresh, natural peppermint scent—it’s a very strong but clean scent, and way more pleasant than the harsh chemical smells most bug sprays leave behind.
